For Pops...

Pops has been waiting a long time to see me wearing my overalls! I'm only 4 months old, but these 6-9 month overalls actually fit! I hope he doesn't think I'm actually going to work on the farm and get them dirty! :)

New Header!

Sensory Overload!!!

I'm at Gigi and Papa's this week for Thanksgiving! This morning I was taking a "ride" in my cousin Lola's old "Cadillac" (that's what Gigi calls the exersaucer...because it's loaded with features), and I think I experienced sensory overload. What do you think?

Yippee!

I finally found my thumb! Mommy and Daddy aren't too happy about it, but it just tastes so good that I can't resist it! I hear them talking about trying to stop me, but that binky just isn't as good. This ought to be fun! :)

The Classics...

In addition to Mommy's favorite shows like "Dancing With The Stars" and "Grey's Anatomy", I've also discovered my love for the classics. Yes, classic cartoons like "Popeye the Sailor Man" on Boomerang. Daddy is helping me cultivate a more mature cartoon palate. I've heard him talking about characters like Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fud, and Tom and Jerry. I suppose I'll get to meet them soon...I'm sure Daddy won't steer me wrong when it comes to cartoons!

My new ride!

Mommy and I went to Blessed Baby today for a test-drive...not for a new stroller, but a Baby Bjorn! She'd heard from Jules' mommy that it was the best way to carry around little girls. I didn't really care for the test model in the store (maybe because it was just about time to eat!) but I really think I'm going to like the one Mommy brought home. She even found a really cute silk slipcover to jazz it up a bit. The carrier is navy blue and the cover is a green print...those are Mommy's favorite colors. I suppose I'll end up liking them, too.

p.s. Daddy TOTALLY hates this thing...he says he doesn't want to be seen in public with Mommy and me if she wears it. Too bad, I like it!

Getting ready for my first Halloween!

Mommy has neglected my blog lately...choosing to post pictures of me on her blog instead. But today she decided to let me put some pictures on my page! I am looking forward to wearing my first Halloween costume in a couple of weeks, and in the meantime, Mommy is letting me wear all of my other cute Halloween outfits. Here's one of them...

I'm Here!

Hey there! Just here long enough to let you all know that I finally made my arrival as scheduled on Tuesday, August 5, at 11:24 am. I made a fairly quick entrance...just a little more than 4 hours from start to finish. I am also proof that good things come in small packages...I was only 6 pounds, 11 ounces. And at a starting "height" of 20 3/4 inches, it looks like I might take after my mommy and daddy after all!

Gotta get back to my nap now!

I started this blog quite some time ago in anticipation of the babe, and now it seems that she's just about ready to make her official debut!
